Stress has also been known to cause headaches. A lot of people undergoing depression or suffering from occasional stressful situations either at home or at the work places are often at risk of suffering from periodic or even constant headaches. The best way to address this is to have some stress relieving activities in your schedule. This may include sports, hobbies and even yoga.


Irregular Meal Times

According to medical reports, hunger is also one of the leading causes of tension headaches. Although it is understandable that people may not have the time to adhere to the conventional meal schedule due to the busy life, it is important to make sure you at least grab a snack during lunch and eat well at dinner.



Finally, tension headaches can also be caused by eyestrains. Spending too much time in front of a computer or a laptop is a major cause, especially for people who work for quite some hours during the day. The best way to deal with eyestrain is to reduce the time you spend in front of a screen. Make sure you take the breaks set out at work just to give your eyes some time to recharge.

Tension Headaches are very common and even though a number of medications have already been developed to deal with them, if you can avoid the simple causes highlighted above then you should be fine.
